Create CGM Files

CGM (standing for Computer Graphics Metafile) is a vector graphic format largely used for storing raster graphics and 2D vector graphics, as well as text.

The CGM image format was originally created to save and store clip art libraries, and its newer revision may also be used for storing CAD creations.

The most common ways of making custom CGM images is to use a CAD application or to convert images encoded using other graphic formats to CGM.

Most graphic converters capable of exporting CGM image files will also allow users to edit the source image before converting it to the CGM format.
