LUT Translator For Mac

LUT Translator is a lightweight but powerful Mac OS X application which is capable of converting to and from color look-up tables in any format. It comes with a simple-looking user interface, the ability to preview tables and other specific functions.

The application supports both 1D and 3D LUT formats which it stores in a built-in database. Moreover, it allows you to import multiple LUTs at the same time and displays them in a compact list in the main window.

The following information is displayed for each LUT entry: name, type, 3D mesh, size, imported date, format, creation date and comment. Above the list you can access a search box and below it the image and colors can be viewed.

Another benefit of using LUT Translator is that it can combine several LUTs into one and even reverse / inverse both 1D and 3D LUTs. The app extracts Luma and Color information in the process.

Other important functions, which can be accessed via the right pane, include the option to add legal video level changes to full range level changes. This action works both ways, too. On top of this, LUT Translator can duplicate look-up tables in different formats.
