Keeping a journal can help you get through stressful situations, analyze events in an objective manner or immortalize important life proceedings. Memories is a small diary app that can help you keep your entries organized and much more.

Your journal entry covers most of the Memories main window: the top toolbar and the entries panel (which can be hidden) are the only elements that also claim some space.

The Memories top toolbar contains buttons for accessing the font and color customization tools, capturing images or recording videos. Moreover, the left side journal entries panel displays a list with all your diary entries organized by date.

Each time you create a new journal page, Memories grabs the weather information for your location and displays it in the top right corner or the page. To change your current location, press the navigation icon and select the desired area from a map.

Memories allows you to set a passkey for accessing the app’s main window and encrypts all your entries by using the AES-256 algorithm: this way, your diary should be safe from any prying eyes.

The application offers you the possibility to export specific entries or your entire diary into popular file formats, such as ODF, RTF, RTFD, HTML, ODT, DOCX, XML, DOC or TXT. Memories enables you to sync your database to all your devices via your iCloud account.

The elegant Memories user interface provides access to a collection of basic tools when it comes to journaling. Of course, you get to customize your entries using classic methods, but the novelty is represented by the easy location and weather integration and by the fact that you can embed video and image content into your pages.
