CModTool is a lightweight and open-source OS X application that converts 3D Studio model files (.3ds) to Celestia format (.cmod).
Celestia is a free and open-source 3D astronomy simulator available for the Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux platforms.
What's new in CModTool 1.0.4:
- Minor internal updates carried over from Celestia
- Generate normals option renamed to "Regenerate normals" to more accurately reflect what it does.
- Weld vertices is now only selectable if Regenerate normals is also selected. (Internally, CModTool was always silently ignoring the Weld vertices setting unless Generate normals was selected)
