Subtitles theEditor is a feature rich application for macOS that enables you to synchronize, edit and translate subtitles.

You can open your movie and a subtitle in the SRT or SUB format, start playing the clip, follow the subtitles and sync them with the movie spoken lines.

The main window is divided into two resizable panes: one to view and edit subtitles and another for playing the video. Users can manually edit the subtitles and adjust their time according to the lines spoken by the actors in the video.

Moreover, it also includes an upper toolbar with functions for searching (find and replace is also supported), selecting the encoding format, and configuring other advanced options.

As mentioned, Subtitles theEditor provides a built-in video player with a basic progress bar, and a bar with common buttons such as stop, play / pause or jump backward / forward.

You can also create new transcriptions or subtitles (translations) from the ground up. You can also specify the frames per seconds of the subtitles.

Numerous encoding and languages are supported, such as Greek, Hebrew and Japanese as well as UTF-16 and UTF-8 respectively.
