Capture NX For Mac

Capture NX is a fully-featured Mac OS X application specially designed to help you edit, fix and enhance your photos, as well as organize and manage your pictures library.

From Capture NX’s main window you can quickly and easily access the folders containing your pictures, sort them based on their rating, label color or other criteria, apply labels, change image rating and open them in the built-in Editor.

What is more, Capture NX helps you filter the displayed photos and view only images with a certain rating or label color, change the layout of your workspace and import or print pictures.

The left side panel helps you drag, drop and organize your favorite folders form the Folders tab and view / edit the metadata of the selected image from the Metadata tab.

Once an image is opened in the built-in editor, you can easily adjust its colors, light levels, correct distortions, reduce noise and more. Thanks to the Color Control Points, you can enhance, the hue, brightness and saturation of the selected photo by simply adjusting the length of the sliders.

The U Point Technology enables you to apply a wide variety of enhancements like Gaussian Blur or Unsharp Mask to the desired area of your image. You no longer have to work with masks since the Selection Control Point is capable to determine the areas you want to adjust.

The great thing about the Selection Control Point, is that you can use with any of the featured editing tools, including Brightness, D-Lightning, Focus, Color, Noise Reduction and Correction.

At the same time, the Auto Retouch Brush tools makes it easy for you to obtain a more natural looking picture by replacing unwanted items and objects with a few mouse clicks and strokes matching the photos’ tones and color.
