Apple has released an update for music makers using its powerful Logic Pro X software adding improvements to “overall stability and performance.”

Users who update to Logic Pro X 10.0.2 will notice that undo commands work as expected after Flex Pitch editing, and that the Vintage Electric Piano plug-in performs correctly, regardless of the sample rate.

Users will no longer see MIDI recordings erased by the Capture Last Take key command, while double-clicking on a Drummer region enables them to open and close the editor.

A graphical flaw involving the Piano Roll Editor (empty window) is also addressed. Apple says “This release is recommended for all Logic Pro X customers.”

Logic Pro X 10.0.2 weighs in at 650MB and requires OS X 10.8.4 (Mountain Lion), 4GB of RAM, a display with 1280-by-768 resolution or higher, and a minimum 5GB of disk space.
