Presets updated because of Mavericks’ own keyboard shortcuts

Apple this week released KB article HT6087 which talks about the “Logic Pro X 10.0.5 key command presets.”

Why is the document necessary, you ask? Well, in case you haven’t noticed, some handy shortcuts are no longer available (behind the same shortcuts) in Mavericks.

Apple explains that “Logic Pro X 10.0.5 includes updated key command presets for most languages. These presets were updated as a result of changes to the keyboard shortcuts used by OS X Mavericks.”

Not only that, but a recent update to Logic Pro X – namely 10.0.5 – actually corrects some of the key commands in the company’s music production software. For that, a new table of shortcuts was born (available in KB article HT6087). Apple says to choose Logic Pro X > Key Commands > Presets, in order to activate a preset.

Aspiring musicians can download Logic Pro X from the Mac App Store for $199.99 / €179.99. Existing users can download the latest version for free.
