New in autoTranscribe 1.3 (Feb 13, 2017)

  • New Feature:
  • integrates with the iPhone autoTranscribe app NOW in the iPhone app store. Create transcripts on the fly and they magically appear on the mac for listening to and viewing.
  • Integrating the native transcription viewer into the app. When files are viewed, they now use a native viewer that understand the transcription. It shows the text, and some statistics defining the accuracy of the transcription (and individual words).
  • Selecting 'Colour word confidence' will highlight the words using colour to indicate the confidence in the transcription for that particular word.

New in autoTranscribe 1.21 (Nov 23, 2016)

  • Bug fix - The app could crash at startup, this could occur If a directory being monitored was deleted and for some other odd reasons. The app could not be able to be used without a full uninstall and reinstall.

New in autoTranscribe 1.2 (Nov 15, 2016)

  • Minor UI fixes:
  • UI Improved the manual transcribe so that a progress dialog is shown whilst preparing the transcription.

New in autoTranscribe 1.1 (Nov 10, 2016)

  • New Feature:
  • Hooked up with MonkeyLearn.com to analyze the content of the transcription and categorize them. These categories are then tagged onto the files (both the transcription and the original recording). This means that even if the transcription is deleted the original audio file now has the category tagged making it really easy to locate all files related to that category. Right now the analysis performed is fixed and only works for transcriptions in the English language based transcriptions.
  • You can disable this function in the preferences option if you wish (it is enabled by default for you).
  • Uses the 'Generic Topic Classifier' from Monkeylearn.com.
  • To see the tags we added you can select a file in Finder and use the 'get Info' option to see and modify the tags, or just use the search option in Finder, if you start typing something that aligns with a tag, they will be shown and can be selected to get the results instantly.
