  • Added a one-time disable option that will allow mobile users to more easily connect to coffee shop and hotel networks by disabling Safe Eyes temporarily while the user authenticates on the network. This mode is ON by default and can be turned off by contacting Customer Support
  • Added an automatic disable option that will disable Safe Eyes temporarily anytime our filtering servers cannot be reached. This mode is OFF by default and can be turned on by using the "Disable Safe Eyes" menu item in Safe Eyes.

  • Enabled Remote Assistance from Support menu
  • When your subscription expired, Safe Eyes disabled itself without any user notification. Fixed the reminder window that informs the user that their subscription was ending soon and added a notification (including gray Safe Eyes icon) when Safe Eyes was disabled due to an expired account.

  • When your usage reports are stored on the Safe Eyes Server, you can now access them via the shortcut in the Dock menu.

New in Safe Eyes 3.1 (Apr 30, 2008)

  • The login dialog is no longer overly persistent and can now be cancelled. Once cancelled, the login dialog will not pop back up when internet access is requested--you must manually log in.
  • Disabling Safe Eyes (via the username and administrative password of the Safe Eyes account which was used to install Safe Eyes) when there is no network connection present now works properly.
  • Fixed a problem where under very specific circumstances, you could see the Safe Eyes login dialog at your Mac OS X login screen.
