New in Rocket 1.4 (Jan 24, 2018)

  • Emoji Bullet List 💯:
  • Use this to create emojified bullet point lists that’ll make your presentations, documents, and standup updates all a little more ✨. Get to it from the Rocket menu bar icon—it’s free for everyone.
  • Fun Stats for Pro Users 📊:
  • Take a look at your Fun Stats to see some beautiful charts on how many emoji you’ve used, your top emoji, how many emoji you’ve ignored (😢), and more!
  • Better, Faster Shortcut Search ⚡:
  • I’ve improved the “:thu”-style shortcut search so that searching matches from the ‘-’ in a shortcut. This makes it faster and easier to drill down to the exact emoji you want, rather than having to wade through the 300 options given to you by the old fuzzy search mechanism. Let me know what you think via the Feedback tab though!
  • Better Browse & Search 🔎:
  • You can now see the whole 🌈 of skin tones when you choose an emoji in the Browse & Search window—even if you don’t have the preference tweaked! Double click one of these to quickly copy it to your clipboard.
  • You can set a keyboard shortcut to quickly open the Browse and Search window. Do this from Preferences > Advanced 💥
  • And more:
  • Fixed an issue where some skin tone variations on an emoji wouldn’t appear in the Shortcut Search if you had that preference set
  • Fixed links to my help pages, and improved my help pages in case Rocket stops working or you need to disable VSCode Tweaked some text around the app to be a little clearer

  • improves performance for large lists of emoji
