New in Rewind 1.2.1 Build 124 (Apr 24, 2017)

  • Changes:

New in Rewind 1.2 Build 123 (Jan 11, 2017)

  • Changes:
  • Added 90 seconds, 2 minutes, and 3 minutes options for the Rewind Duration. Please note that these options will use more memory. The amount will vary, but estimate that it is as much as 300 MB per 30 seconds.
  • Added a preference for immediately asking for a name for a Rewind after it's taken, so that they can be distinguished later more easily.
  • File names are better validated before saving so that odd errors do not occur.

New in Rewind 1.1 Build 120 (Aug 4, 2016)

  • Added a new "Show in Dock" preference. By turning this off, Rewind can happily live in the menubar only.
  • Cmd-W / "Close" in the File menu will close Rewind's main window now.
  • No longer shows an "Unable to determine hardware-accelerated video encoding support" alert on some older (pre 2011) Macs.
  • The recording controls window now shows a "muted speaker" icon when not recording audio.
