- Red Stripe 3 adds an option for blue stripes to help with blue-yellow color blindness (tritanopia).
- Also new are three color alteration filters to change the hue, invert the luminance, and make colors more vibrant.

- Follow the pointer: the visible area in the Red Stripe window can now follow the mouse pointer. (The “transparent” mode from the previous version is still the default.)
- Capture speed adjustment: slow down the speed to reduce energy consumption or increase it to reduce lag.
