New in Locations 1.2 (Sep 3, 2008)

  • Mail Issues - In the previous release, SMTP servers that didn't have a description listed next to them in the Mail preferences wouldn't switch properly. It was also having some difficulty with accounts that required SSL authentication, depending on what the description was. This release corrects both of those.
  • Action Tweaks - Several other actions were tweaked, especially the open application, close application, and desktop image actions. These were given saner default places to go to when you select the file for the action to work with.
  • Minor UI Issues - The width of the preference pane was changed to keep up with 10.5 updates. Also, the appearance of a button was corrected, and the title text for the actions and triggers list were modified to be clearer.
  • Enable and Disable Airport - Leopard Only.
  • Display Brightness.
  • Apple Mail Check Frequency.
  • Play an iTunes Playlist.
  • Enable or Disable Bluetooth.
  • Timezone Support.
