  • Faster and more accurate editor track preview generation.
  • Overall editor performance improvements.
  • Fixes:
  • Exporting would occasionally result in a partly or fully black output.
  • Cutting a recording would reset speed multiplier adjustments.
  • Trimming a recording with adjusted speed was out of sync with mouse movements.
  • Editor wouldn't render correct previews for speed-adjusted recordings.
  • Occasional crash on Intel-based Macs shortly after launching the app.
  • Recording shortcut tooltip wouldn't hide when starting recording with an actual shortcut.
  • In some builds the app would always ask for the output directory after relaunching.
  • Build version wasn't correctly displayed in about and update windows.

  • Recordings would sometimes finish incomplete, especially on macOS 14 Sonoma and Intel-based Macs.
  • Exporting to a read-only location would result in a crash.
  • Removing a media item during export would not always cancel the export.

  • Minimum supported macOS version is now 10.13 High Sierra, delivering overall performance improvements.

  • Cropping a HiDPI video results in a wrong crop area surrounded by a black frame.
  • Exported MP4 video would occasionally miss frames and look choppy.

  • In rare cases the whole app would freeze up and become unresponsive, typically during a recording or import.
  • A recording and import would occasionally fail at random.
  • The launch at system startup preference would not always indicate correctly if it's enabled or not.
  • A bunch of general behind-the-scenes performance and stability improvements.
