  • NEW: Insertion Mode. Placing objects on the Canvas is now easier and more intuitive. You can still add objects to the Canvas via double-click or drag-and-drop from the vertical Library list on the left. But now you can also single-click on an object tool in the Library to enter Insertion Mode. While in this mode, you can add a new object to the Canvas via click-and-drag.
  • NEW: Improved Text object. With the new Text object, the font size is automatically adjusted as you resize the Text object on the canvas. You can still add text to any object on the Canvas by double-clicking it. The behavior of text in other objects remains unchanged.

  • NEW: CoreImage Filters may now be applied to any Shape, Line, or Path object on the canvas. This allows you to apply snazzy image effects to any object. Look for the new "Filter" palette in the Inspector side pane.
  • NEW: The behavior of the Geometry Inspector palette has changed to be more like the other palettes when multiple objects on the Canvas are selected. Changing a geometry property (e.g. "X" coordinate, or "Width") applies that value to each selected object individually, rather than all of the selected objects as a group.
