  • Fixed:
  • Fixed a compile bug where using a reserved folder name was preventing submission to Apple
  • URL Buttons now function on all platforms when the full address is given. If you leave out elements of the address, www or http for example, we do our best to fill those in for you, but we don’t guarantee that. So please fully fill out your address fields, example: https://www.google.com/
  • Fixed situations where certain Pinned Attributes were not showing on the attributes panel, maintaining their changed values, or capable of being pinned in the first place. Pinning an attribute on a node allows individual instances of your object to have different values from other individual instances of the same object. Meaning that changes to the parent should not propagate to the children.
  • We updated the In App Purchase Node – the previous version was passing server callback information to the outputs instead of the standard true/false boolean values. We have kept the advanced information available as a new 3rd output. You will need to drag out a new version of the node to get the updated (3 output) version.
  • Fixed an issue where commas were being removed from text fields.

When you click the share globally button, the Buildbox team will review your bit before uploading it to the explore feed, where anyone in the world can view and play your bits. You can play your bit on any Android device. You’ll also receive a custom URL that you can share on iOS and Android to let your friends, family, and anybody else who has Buildbox World installed to play your bit.

  • In Buildbox 3.4.3, we’ve added over a dozen new UI assets to the Asset Library. Quickly add stars for scoring, home, back, or control buttons all within Buildbox. We added an overlay function that allows you to check the position of your UI screens via gameplay screens.
  • Apple Account Sign In:
  • There’s also a new option to sign into Buildbox via your Apple account. This makes it super convenient to log in and start creating your games without worrying about memorizing passwords.
  • Enable/Disable Functionality Added to Is Touched Node:
  • We’ve had a lot of requests for the ability to deactivate touch on items, and we’ve listened. The Is Touched Node in Buildbox now has an enable/disable functionality, so you have the option to set it on or off. It’s totally up to you!
  • Product Feedback Page Access:
  • Buildbox 3.4.3 features direct access to our new public Product Feedback page to make it easier to send us your feedback and suggestions. It’s located in the ‘Help’ tab in the dropdown menu. You can visit it anytime to find out what’s new, what we’re currently working on, and the cool features and tools in the works that are coming soon.

  • We have a new update fixing 30+ issues including the pesky folders issue introduced in 3.3.7. We've also updated Admob's SDK so for iOS you will no longer receive that error message or have issues related to outdated SDK.

  • Fixed an issue that causes an error to occur after creating a 2D game.

  • Rotating a single axis with the rotate tool in the Scene Editor now adjusts the proper axis value.
  • Exported games on a mobile device now pauses every time the app is hidden on a mobile device if the game has a pause menu.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the Z axis to appear in 2D Worlds and disappear in 3D Worlds.
  • Changes in the Sub-scene manager are now only applied after clicking the Assign button.
  • Trail node now contains an Up Vector attribute that allows it to be adjusted to appear in 2D Worlds.
  • Default Worlds and Worlds that are added to the Mind map will now start with the same scene view and start/end point positions.

  • As you might have heard, Apple’s new operating system is announced to roll-out today to MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, Mac Mini, Mac Pro, iMac and iMac Pro users. We have noticed, that in some cases the new update impacts the performance of Buildbox so we have released a new update (3.3.6) for Buildbox to fix this issue.
