Reboot Scheduler Apps and Alternatives

When using a Mac, one will sometimes need to restart the computer in order to apply system updates.

Reboot schedulers will offer their users the option to schedule a Mac to restart at predefined times in order to update the OS using the latest fixes from Apple.

Users may also need to restart their Mac if an application is not responsive and its process cannot be killed using the Activity monitor or the command line kill command.

Reboot schedulers may also be used to shut down their Mac or to set it to go into hibernation.
