Open TIFF Files

TIFF (acronym for Tagged Image File Format) is an image format that comes with support for layers and multiple pages.

TIFF files can be uncompressed (lossless) or might integrate JPEG (lossy) compression. A TIFF's file size can be reduced using LZM lossless compression without affecting the image quality.

Most image viewers are capable of displaying TIFF files and process the data, including the header tags, but editing options will be either restricted or inexistent.

There also are some TIFF viewers that will enable their users to export their images to other formats.
