Open TIF Files

TIF (also known as TIFF) is the acronym for Tagged Image File Format, and it is an image format that features supports for layers and multiple pages.

The TIF graphics format might come as uncompressed (lossless) or might integrate JPEG (lossy) compression. A TIF file's size can be reduced by LZM lossless compression without affecting the image quality.

Most image viewers can display TIF files and process the data, including the header tags, but editing options will be restricted or inexistent.

However, there are some TIF viewing apps that enable users to export their images to other formats.
