Open TARGA Files

TARGA (acronym for Truevision Advanced Raster Graphics Adapter) is a raster image file format that supports 8, 16, 24, or 32 bits per pixel at a maximum of 24 bits for RGB colors and 8-bit alpha channel.

The TARGA compression method is especially appropriate for textures and simpler images, because it does not fully support pictures that feature numerous color variations.

TARGA files can be usually opened with most image viewers available nowadays, while editing may only be performed using specialized apps.

Some TARGA viewers may also be used to export one's images to more common graphic formats.
