Open AC3 Files

AC3 is a Dolby Digital audio format that contains multiple distinct frames. AC3 files may contain up to 6 audio blocks, and each of them can also feature 256 audio samples per channel.

Aditionally, AC3 tracks may also integrate a subwoofer output, also known as 5.1 surround sound.

To be able to play AC3 files, users need to choose a compatible multimedia player.

AC3 player apps can also be used for creating playlists containing not only AC3 files, but also tracks of numerous other formats.
