Make OGG Files

OGG is an audio container format based on the free OGG Vorbis compression method which, despite being similar to MP3, will sound better when compared to MP3 tracks of equal size.

Because it is a container format, OGG includes several components, such as audio, video and subtitles, and it is suited for streaming high quality media over the internet.

To be able to create an OGG file, users have to convert their tracks to this format using a dedicated application.

One may also have the option to modify the bit rate or the number of audio channels of the source file before encoding it to the OGG format.

Compatible applications will also allow their users to select a proper filename for the resulting OGG track.
