Make JPF Files

JPC is a raster image format that uses a wavelet compression method to encode images and it was developed as an alternative to the discrete cosine transform-based JPEG method used to encode standard JPEG images.

JPF files can be encoded using either lossless or lossy compression and they are based on JPEG 2000 Core Coding, a specialized graphic compression algorithm and coding system.

JPF is JPEG image format's successor and features support for image transparency, and additional metadata information describing the contents of the image file.

If users want to make their own JPF images, they will have to convert their images to the JPF format using compatible graphic converters with support for this particular image format.
