Make JPC Files

JPC is a graphic raster format based on the wavelet compression method and it was developed as an alternative to the discrete cosine transform-based JPEG algorithm used to encode standard JPEG images.

JPC images can be encoded using either lossy or lossless compression and they are based on JPEG 2000 Core Coding, a specialized graphic compression standard and coding system.

JPC files also come with support for grayscale, RGB, YCbCr, XYZ, Lab color spaces and color depths of 8, 24, and 32 bits per pixel.

If users want to make their own JPC image files, users will have to convert their images to the JPC format using compatible graphic converters with built-in support for this specific image format.
