Make AC3 Files

AC3 is a Dolby Digital audio file format that contains multiple distinct frames. AC3 tracks may also feature up to 6 audio blocks and each of them can contain 256 audio samples per channel.

AC3 files feature a subwoofer output, widely known as 5.1 surround sound.

In order to be able to make their own AC3 files, users will have to choose a dedicated multimedia tool capable of encoding audio files to this particular format.

Before completing the conversion, some apps will also allow users to modify the bit rate and sample rate of the source file.

All apps that feature support for AC3 creation will offer users the option to select the output filename.
