Edit JP2 Apps and Alternatives

JP2 is an image raster format created to replace the discrete cosine transform-based JPEG algorithm used for standard JPEG image files with the wavelet compression method

Using either lossy or lossless compression, the JP2 format is based on JPEG 2000 Core Coding, a specialized encoding algorithm and graphic compression standard.

In order edit their JP2 images, users will have to find and use a specialized graphic editor that comes with built-in support for this particular image format.

Just like JPEG images, JP2 graphic files can be rotated, flipped, cropped or resized using editing apps.
