Create SGI Files

SGI was one of the default image file formats originally used on Silicon Graphics workstations.

The SGI color raster graphics format has built-in support for 8 to 32 bits per pixel and for RLE (Run-Length Encoding) compression that decreases the file size.

Creating SGI files can be achieved by simply quickly converting regular images to the SGI format using a specialized image converting app that comes with support for this particular graphics format.
