Create EXR Files

EXR (also known as OpenEXR) is a high dynamic-range (HDR) graphics format that was developed by Industrial Light & Magic to be used in computer imaging solutions.

EXR's main advantage is the fact that this format comes with supports for not only lossy, but also lossless compression of high dynamic-range image data.

To be able to create their own custom EXR images, users will need to select and use a compatible image converter, with support for this specific graphics format.

EXR creators will also offer their users the option to perform a limited number of basic editing operations to the source image, before exporting it to HDR format.
