Create AU Files

AU is the audio file format that was initially created for Unix-based or Sun Microsystems machines. Since its creation, AU has become the default file extension for sounds on most Unix platforms.

Additionally, AU files contain three distinct components: an annotation block, the actual audio data and a 24 bytes header.

In order to create their own custom AU audio files, users will usually need to find and use a compatible multimedia converter with built-in support for this specific audio format.

Users will also have the option to modify their soure AU audio file's audio channel number and bit rate before creating the AU file.
