Create ASF Files

ASF (acronym for Advanced Systems Format) is a multimedia container format created by Microsoft and consisting of numerous video and audio tracks. Optionally, that ASF format can also include metadata (author, title, and copyright).

ASF files do not specify the used video encoding method and for generating ASF files a specialized application is required.

Typically, ASF container-based data is streamed over the web, and this is why users prefer to convert their tracks to this particular format.

Before creating their ASF files users will have the option to adjust the bit rate for the audio and video source files.
