Create AAC Files

AAC (acronym for Advanced Audio Coding) is an audio format that resembles MP3 but features additional performance optimizations.

Compared to MP3, that AAC format has improved encoding efficiency, simpler filterbank and optimized handling of frequencies above 16 kHz.

To be able to create their own AAC audio files, users will need to find a specialized app that features support for this specific audio format and is capable of correctly creating AAC files.

Users prefer AAC over MP3 because it sounds better at similar bit rates, therefore they typically create AAC files by converting their files to this format.

Additionally, users may also be able to edit the source files' bit rates and audio channel before generating their custom AAC tracks.
