Convert PIX Files

PIX is a raster image format created to be used by Alias 3D applications. PIX images have a header followed by pixels that are regularly run-length encoded as packets.

Because the PIX proprietary format was gradually replaced by others and it is no longer common, it is common practice for users to convert their PIX images to other formats.

When using a compatible graphic converter with their PIX files, users will be able to access and adjust the images with greater ease.

Furthermore, one may use PIX converters as viewers, because they will also allow their users to quickly preview their images before the conversion process starts.
