Convert MPE Files

MPE is a multimedia file format created using the MPEG lossy compression algorithm and, at the moment, it is a format compatible with most video players.

MPEG encoded files are largely used for sharing movie trailers and music videos over the Internet, but users will usually convert them to more popular multimedia formats once they download them.

Users will need to convert their MPE videos to other formats in order to play them on certain portable devices (such as iPods and mobile phones).

Either way, MPE video files may also be played using the apps that come with support for converting them.
