Convert CALS Files

CALS is an 1-bit (black and white) image format that can be either uncompressed or compressed using the CCITT group 4 compression algorithm.

The CALS graphic format is a common one, so when users encounter such a file, they will usually have to convert it to more common image formats that are supported by a wider range of apps.

Although CALS images are rare, there are still several apps that offer support for this particular graphic format, and allow users to access and preview their contents.

These apps may also be used for quickly converting CALS raster images to another chosen graphic format.
