WordMark For Mac

WordMark is a Markdown editor that comes with a minimalist graphical user interface and integrates file management and publishing solutions. The utility can create new Markdown files, but you can also open your old documents.

WordMark features a file manager that automatically updates to include all the Markdown documents that you have opened recently. At the same time, WordMark offers you the possibility to load folders and enables you to navigate through all the included items with ease.

The WordMark main area is reserved for the workspace: here, you get to see the document’s content and use Markdown labels to deal with the formatting. The application provides support for the standard Markdown syntax.

If you activate the WordMark preview tool, the app’s main window will be split in two: on the left, you get to see the original file, while in the right side pane you will be able to view the formatted version.

Within the WordMark Preferences, you get to integrate the application with various image hosting services (Imgur, Amazon, Flickr, or Qiniu) or publishing platforms (WordPress, Ghost, Medium, GitHub, Evernote, Blogger, Tumblr, or Dropbox). You can distribute the documents by email.

This way, the documents edited within the WordMark application can be shared with others at the press of a button. However, besides the .md file format, WordMark also provides support for exporting to HTML or PDF files that will be stored locally.
