Slidium is a Markdown-based presentations editor that offers you the possibility to create slides that include text and images, but also graphs and maps, diagrams, or any other information you might find useful.

The best part is that Slidium delivers support for making the graphs on the spot, so you don’t have to rely on third party solutions and then import the representation to the project.

Slidium allows you to use the Markdown syntax to edit the slideshows content but keep in mind that you don’t have to type the commands manually. You can either rely on the auto completion function or use the auto-hiding toolbar when it comes to frequently used commands.

The editor’s toolbar allows you to make the text bold or italic, add images or hyperlinks, create lists or tables, and so on. On the other hand, the Insert menu helps you add multiple types of charts (line, spline, area, bar, pie, donut), or a mind-map.

Within the Slidium user interface, you get to work on the project’s slides and see the output effects right away in the preview area. You can also see how the slides will look during the presentation and even switch to full-screen mode (you can control the slides using the arrow keys).

For your convenience, Slidium provides control over the new file and new slides templates and allows you to customize the built-in themes and create a design that better suits your needs.

Slidium is a simple Markdown editor that has been developed to work with charts, allows you to see the output in real time, and come with a built-in slideshow viewer. Even though you can easily insert image files, you can also include charts and diagrams without using third party solutions.

By default, Slidium will save your project using a proprietary file format, but you can also opt to send the slideshow to the printer and choose to save it as a PDF document so you can share it with others even though they don’t have the Slidium app installed on their side.
