GlassPro For Mac

GlassPro is a text processor that aims to streamline your workflow by enabling you to see your entire desktop while writing, without having to hide or shuffle windows around.

The GlassPro user interface is represented by a simple window that you can minimize or close directly. Most of the available workspace is reserved for the editing while the various customization options and management tools can be accessed through the top toolbar.

The novelty is represented by the window's transparency: when working in GlassPro, you get to see your entire desktop, so you don't have to waste time reorganizing or hiding windows.

For your convenience, GlassPro offers you the possibility to change the window tint level and the glass or text color. You can adjust both the window and font size.

GlassPro comes with full rich text support, includes a recording option, and integrates a GlassDraw tool that can be used for drawing or to handle handwritten notes.

Worth mentioning is that GlassPro does not seem to include spell checking capabilities, or the possibility to insert images in your documents, so you need to use third party editors to deal with these tasks.

The GlassPro projects can be saved as .txt files, and the app should be able to import PDF, DOC, DOCX, PPT, PPTX, TXT, and HTML files. However, during our tests, we have been able to import correctly only the content of TXT files.

To sum up, GlassPro is a minimalist text editor that features elementary capabilities and lacks simple tools, such as a word counter or a spellchecker.

Nonetheless, the fact that you have the option to write down your ideas without disrupting your flow by dealing with window management tasks can considerably improve your focus.
