CompPad is a free and open-source OpenOffice.org and LibreOffice extension that allows you to perform units-aware engineering calculations within a Writer document,
CompPad allows for calculations to be documented using all of the resources of Writer. CompPad' functionality is similar to Mathcad, but it is not intended to be a Mathcad clone.
CompPad is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
