ResolutionMenu For Mac

ResolutionMenu offers you the possibility to individually change the resolution of each display connected to your Mac without having to navigate to the System Preferences window.

The ResolutionMenu app scans for connected monitors at launch, and can also facilitate the access to the Displays Preferences windows. Note that the displays list is automatically refreshed every time you open the status bar menu.

If you use more than one display for your setup, the chances are that you might also need to use different modes for each screen, especially if the models are not identical.

Usually, to make any adjustments in that area, you must navigate to the Displays panel in the System Preferences window. Moreover, the operating system opens different windows for each display, and you might have to use the Gather Windows function to see all of them on the same screen.

ResolutionMenu reduces all that to a simple status bar menu that lists all connected displays, shows the supported resolutions in each case, and enables you to make the adjustment with a single mouse click.

Worth mentioning is that ResolutionMenu does not provide color depth information for any if the supported resolutions. By default, ResolutionMenu will use the configuration that has the highest color depth in each case.

In fact, ResolutionMenu does not come with any customization option besides changing the display mode. For more complex adjustments, you are directed to the system’s Displays Preferences.

ResolutionMenu can eliminate the need to go through a lot of repetitive actions whenever you need to change the screen resolution regardless of your reasoning.
