Since you go back and forth to your screen constantly, having a wallpaper that suites your mood is important. Live Wallpaper+ is an application that includes 12 different wallpapers and allows you to include a clock or a the weather forecast on your screen.

Live Wallpaper+ stays out or your way most of the time but you can easily access its Preferences window via its status bar menu icon. Once you are satisfied with your screen’s appearance, you do not have to interact with the app anymore.

12 different wallpapers for your screen

In the Live Wallpaper+ Settings panel, navigate to the Themes tab and select the one you want to apply to your screen. You are able to preview their designs via small thumbnails, or you can send them to your screen to visualize the overall effect.

Clock and weather details on your screen

Live Wallpaper+ also allows you to display the weather forecast for any location in the world. The app comes with a list of predefined cities and you must choose the one nearest to you, or you can press the “Auto Detect” button and leave Live Wallpaper+ to figure it out on its own.

You can choose the measurement unit for the temperature (Celsius or Fahrenheit ) and the weather update interval (one day or 4 / 2 / 1 hours). The same area enables you to adjust the time format (24 or 12 hours). Of course, both the clock and weather widgets can be disabled.

Colorful wallpaper themes and useful info

Live Wallpaper+ does not provide a large wallpaper collection, but the included themes are colorful and will potentially brighten your day.

The app can put a clock on your desktop so you can remove the system clock from your menu bar and gain more space, while the weather forecast widget keeps you up to date with the outside conditions, regardless where you live.
