Subs Doctor is a lightweight and flexible Mac OS X application which enables you to edit or create subtitles in the 2 of the most common formats. It can synchronize the subtitles with the video and lets you preview the video with your subtitles.

The application supports the SRT (SubRip) and SUB (SubViewer and MicroDVD) subtitle formats. When you load one with Subs Doctor, it will be displayed in the main window where you can view the line number, start and end time of each line, and the dialogues themselves.

The subtitle synchronization tools enable you to match the video with the dialogues by increasing or decreasing their start and end time. Subs Doctor is able to highlight overlapping subtitles, which helps you detect them and make the necessary corrections.
