MotionMap For Mac

MotionMap is a video analysis software that helps you identify the areas in a particular space that are subjected to the greatest traffic. The app works with CCTV footage and can detect any object that is moving within the viewable area.

Within the MotionMap main window, you get to import individual CCTV footage videos, or direct the app to an entire folder. In the latter case, MotionMap will process all the videos included in the directory, and display the results in list mode.

The application can handle around 1 hour of footage in one minute, and allows you to monitor the process in the main window. Moreover, you get to see how the movement map is generated in real time.

MotionMap is using a color scale to highlight the areas that receive traffic, going from blue for low traffic to red for high traffic. This way you can identify the high-interest areas at a glance.

Once the processing is done, MotionMap offers you the possibility to save the currently selected motion map or all the maps to a location of your choice. MotionMap helps you open the source video file in a player.

When you save individual map files, MotionMap offers you the opportunity to choose the output format: JPEG, PNG, or BMP. Note that when you bulk save the map images, MotionMap will automatically employ the most recently used output format.
