Media Menu Pro For Mac

Media Menu Pro is a minimalist status bar menu application designed to help you browse your media library and open files without having to disrupt your workflow. The app scans user setup folders and displays all available files in list mode.

You can easily access the Media Menu Pro main window by pressing the app’s status bar icon: the panel displays a list of available files, thumbnails for the cover art, and includes basic search capabilities.

The gear icon placed in the top right corner or the main panel allows you to access the Preferences window, but also offers you the possibility to change the file’s cover art. However, the panel theme cannot be personalized in any way: resizing the window is the only customization option available.

Media Menu Pro stays out of your way most of the time and does not require any special attention. On the other hand, the user has the option to launch and interact with its main window through a simple mouse click.

Via the Preferences window, Media Menu Pro enables you to set up a custom hotkey for toggling the media menu. Other options include the possibility to hide the missing media, to add reflections and shine to the cover art, or to set up the default media playing application.

The same area allows you to specify the folders that should be scanned for media content and provides maintenance options: remove missing, rebuild covers, and reset database. You can also choose to have the small files skipped during the media scan.

Media Menu Pro is a great tools if you are looking for a way to have almost instant access to your videos, without having to deal with complex media managers.
