Create time-lapse videos from photo sequences, perform image adjustments and export clips to various formats, with this easy-to-use app #Time-lapse video #Time-lapse assembler #Time-lapse creator #Time-lapse #Timelapse #Assemble
Time-lapse photography is often used to highlight processes that would normally not be visible to the human eye. Taking the photos is only the first step, however, as you also need to assemble them into a video.
Interval is a straightforward app designed for this very purpose. It is very easy-to-use, supports high-resolution RAW photos, keyframe pan and zoom animations. It allows you to perform image adjustments and export your creation to 2160p, 1080p or 720p resolutions.
To create a time-lapse video, you first need to select the folder where all the images are stored. You should, of course, ensure they are named sequentially before importing them.
If no other adjustments are necessary, you can simply export the project to MP4, M4V or MOV in 2160p, 1080p or 720p. Also, it is possible to customize the frame rate, video and audio bitrate.
You can create animations by navigating to a particular keyframe and modifying the pan and zoom parameters. Each keyframe’s location is highlighted on the timeline, but you can use the left and right buttons to switch between them more quickly.
Multiple image parameters can be adjusted, including exposure, brightness, contrast, saturation and vibrance.
Interval’s user interface is far from cluttered. You can preview your project in the main panel, and the various controls are well placed and easy to access.
Because of its intuitive design, even complete novices should have no problems with this app.
Overall, Interval is a well-designed application that can be very useful for photographers who wish to create time-lapse videos. It is easy to work with, supports keyframe animation and can export your clips to various formats, in multiple resolutions.
