The Screen-Recorder capture window allows you to adjust the area that will be viewed in the recording: simply resize the window, place it in the appropriate position and press the “Start Recording” button from the Screen-Recorder main window or use the Command + 1 hotkey.

However, keep in mind that before launching the recording process you must make sure you have made all the necessary adjustments in the Screen-Recorder main window. Most importantly, you must specify the output folder, otherwise the app will not know where to place your videos.

The same area provides further customization options: you can choose to have the mouse clicks highlighted, you can decide to capture the audio input or you can choose to automatically stop the recording after a certain number of seconds (you will hear an audio alert each time the recording stops).

Screen-Recorder offers you the possibility to record the entire screen: simply check the appropriate box in the Screen-Recorder main window.

Note that, a couple of seconds after you start the recording, the “Start Recording” button transforms into a “Stop Recording” button which you can use to halt the process manually. Screen-Recorder will then generate a MOV file which can be viewed using a media player of your choice.
