vMEyeSuper For Mac

Protecting your house, garage, car or office is a full time job that requires time and resources. Thanks to vMEyeSuper you can turn your Mac into a surveillance system and access the live video feed of various IP cameras or DVRs without charge.

vMEyeSuper is a lightweight and user-oriented OS X application that enables you to receive and record video streams and control surveillance cameras and DVRs. The installation process of vMEyeSuper will take a couple of minutes and approximately 6MB of your Mac’s hard disk space.

vMEyeSuper comes with a well-designed interface from which you can view a list with all connected devices along with the control and video panel. The List panel helps you add, organize, manage and connect to or disconnect from your devices and change their settings.

Thanks to the Control Panel you can pan left, right, up or down, zoom in and out, take snapshots or start the recording process. If you need to change the layout of the video panel or enable the full screen mode you can use one of the available screen layouts from the “Screen” panel. You can display up to sixteen video feeds at the same time and view anyone of them in full window by simply double clicking on it.

The Playback tab, helps you access surveillance recordings of all connected devices and search for recordings that were triggered by a motion, common or I/O alarm. All captured screen shots are available under the Snap-shot tab while the Config tab helps you choose the video and snapshot storage folder, enable the password protection and set the recording duration.

Unfortunately, vMEyeSuper does not offer a help menu and there are no instructions available on the developer’s website. As a result, you have to discover vMEyeSuper’s features by trying all the buttons and exploring all the tabs.
