tinyCheck For Mac

tinyCheck is a well-organized OS X utility designed to help you keep your to-dos and upcoming events organized by category, due date, or priority. This way, you can make sure you will not miss important deadlines and track your progress for different projects.

For your convenience, tinyCheck comes with a status bar menulet that takes you to the app’s main window to either create a new to-do entry or simply navigate to different focus categories.

Note that tinyCheck comes with a collection of predefined focus groups, and you cannot alter the list in any way: late, today, upcoming, priorities, flagged, no deadline, or completed. The application will automatically distribute your entries to these groups, depending on the data provided by the user.

You can also find entries by tags, or have them manually organized into user-defined categories, even though the latter cannot be directly accessed via the status bar menulet.

For each to-do entry added to the tinyCheck database, you get to provide a name and a due date, assign different tags (have to be separated by a comma), set a priority level, add a short description, and even attach document files.

As a result, you get instant access to everything you need to know about a particular task, together with the associated resource files. Note that tinyCheck will not directly link to the file’s location on your drive, but upload them to the local tinyCheck server.

tinyCheck comes with very few customization options, and can handle export and import tasks only using a proprietary file format, which means that you will not be able to migrate your tasks from another manager, even though you can create backups.

To sum up, tinyCheck offers you the possibility to keep track of tasks and upcoming events associated with various projects with ease.

The tinyCheck utility allows you to use your own sorting methods for the entries, but also automatically highlights the ones that have to be dealt with in the near future, ensuring that you are always up to date.
