If you are using the Time Machine technology to backup your important data to an external drive, the lack of scheduling options can prove to be frustrating. iScheduleTimeMachine is a status bar menu app that enables you to take control over the entire process.

The iScheduleTimeMachine app resides on your status bar and, after the initial set up, rarely requires your attention. The menu provides details about the current Time Machine status, the last backup initiated, and the date and time for the next backup.

The same area allows you to open the Time Machine volume, to manually start the backup process or to access the iScheduleTimeMachine Preferences (here you get to customize the backup schedule).
