iFileSplitter For Mac

iFileSplitter, Paween Itthipalkul’s file splitting and joining application, has been designed with one single goal in mind: to help you divide very large files to into smaller bits and to later allow you to put them back together as easy as possible.

The iFileSplitter application has an intuitive tab-based interface for the two types of tasks you can perform using it.

In the Split tab you can quickly choose the file you want to chop up, the folder you want iFileSplitter to save the resulting parts and the size of each fragment. Once you click the “Split” button, the app will automatically start slashing the original file into equally sized pieces.

In order to join the separate bits of a chopped up file, you just have to choose the first fragment and the destination folder where the re-composed file will be saved. Next, after clicking the “Join” button, iFileSplitter will instantly fuse all the file’s parts back together.

On an Early 2009 Mac Pro, as well as on a Late 2012 iMac, the iFileSplitter application worked flawlessly, splitting a 1 GB file under 10 seconds and quickly joining it back together in approximately the same time interval.
